Collection Details: Curious Stories

Curious Stories is a German brand that was started by Kris in 2019. Previous to this she was a children's book illustrator. Kris has always been fascinated by how colourful painted stories touch a child’s imagination and gradually she came up with the idea of combining children's clothing and her illustrations so that children can bring their stories with them.

us that our children grow up free from the gender stereo- types of today’s world. We pay most attention, when designing our prints, that all our clothes be fun for both girls and boys."

The cotton that is being used is GOTS certified and the clothes are being manufactured in Turkey, in the same factory as Walkiddy.The factory has specialized in processing organic cotton for over 20 years and in children’s clothing for 15 years with an open door policy.

 

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world’s leading standard for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibres. It defines environmental requirements at a high level along the entire textile production chain and at the same time requires compliance with social criteria. Only textile products that consist of at least 70% organically produced natural fibres can be certified according to GOTS. All chemical additives used, such as dyes and auxiliaries, must meet certain environmentally relevant and toxicological criteria. 

Curious Stories garments are digitally printed. We only use water-based GOTS-approved inks that are free of PVC and phthalates. The inks used for digital printing are environmentally friendly, sustainable and residue-free, so they are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) tested and certified to be safe.
