By purchasing this dress you're contributing to the Caribbean Tree Planting Project. Alba got together with Caribbean Philanthropic Alliance, an organization operating in regions of the Caribbean vulnerable to climate change, to help raise funds to fight the effects of hurricanes, earthquakes, flooding, raising sea levels, economic and social issues… One of the organization’s largest mission was planting one million trees in 21 Caribbean countries between 2020 and 2021 with its Caribbean Tree Planting Project.
By choosing the 400-year old baobab tree this gigantic and well-respected tree as the print for this special collection, Alba of Denmark aim to spread the message of unity and raise awareness around the importance of tree planting, not just in the Caribbean but all around the world.
