Vara Barn means “be a child” in Swedish, and that’s at the heart of everything we do. We believe kids should be dressed like kids — in clothes that are soft, practical, and made for play. That’s why we stock only organic, eco-friendly clothing, free from harmful chemicals and made to last.

I’m Anna, originally from Sweden, and together with my partner David, who grew up in Canada, we run Vara Barn as a small online-only shop. We import clothing from all over Europe — including the UK, Germany, France, and Sweden — handpicking brands we love for their quality, durability, and timeless design.

Our own two children help us test some of the clothes, so we can see firsthand how durable and practical they are for real play. Every piece we bring in is chosen with comfort and longevity in mind, so kids can climb, run, and explore freely, while parents can feel confident the clothes are kind to both children and the planet.
