Villervalla is a Swedish brand (designed in the picturesque old part of Gothenburg called Haga)that creates comfortable, stylish, durable and fun clothes. All products from their suppliers are certified Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, read more about Oeko-Tex here. It is very important to them that their garments are free from harmful chemicals.The main part of Villervalla's collection is made with organic cotton. This cotton is grown without any pesticides or chemical additives. This creates cotton that is free from toxins, heavy metals and genetically modified organisms. To be able to label a garment organic, the production process also has to be completely free from harmful substances. They are expanding their organic programs even more in upcoming collections and their goal is to eventually be able to offer a completely organic collection. The company has different certifications such as BCSI and SEDEX-code that ensure their Indian and Turkish factories employ ethical business practices when it comes to the welfare and safety of their employees, as well as offering reasonable work hours and wages. We love their comfortable styles, fun colours and unisex prints that you can mix and match from all collections.
