A full-brimmed, safari-style hat with a drape in back for neck coverage. When the wind starts whipping, the nonchafing, adjustable chin strap keeps the hat secure. It's crafted of NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon faille made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS, and 40+ UPF sun protection. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

NetPlus®: NetPlus® material is made from 100% recycled discarded fishing nets collected in fishing communities in South America. Patagonia have been supporting this program for a number of years and are rapidly expanding its use across their synthetic fabric ranges. A fully traceable postconsumer recycled material that actively recovers plastic waste from the oceans. Fishing nets are often discarded into the ocean due to a lack of end of life solutions or breakages. These discarded nets choke the oceans polluting and damaging marine life. The NetPlus program aims to recover this waste and give it value while also providing an income for local communities.
