Engel Hooded Children's Jacket Jasper Melange

A warm, soft wool fleece jacket made for everyday adventures in cooler weather.

Made from 100% organic virgin wool, this Engel jacket is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, helping keep kids warm without the bulk of synthetic fleece. The comfortable cut allows plenty of freedom to move and makes it easy to layer underneath.

The full-length zip makes getting dressed simple, while the cosy hood and longer back help keep little ones protected from chilly weather. There are also two practical pockets for keeping hands warm, or collecting the little treasures that somehow always make their way home from outdoor adventures.

Reflective details add a little extra visibility when days get darker, making this a particularly lovely choice for autumn and winter.

How is the wool made so soft?

Engel's wool fabric starts with 100% organically produced virgin merino wool. The wool fibres are gently processed and knitted into a soft, dense fabric with a cozy, slightly brushed surface.

Rather than using synthetic fibres to create a fleece-like fabric, the warmth and softness come entirely from the natural wool fibres themselves. This gives the jacket its soft feel while allowing wool's natural properties to shine, it is breathable, temperature regulating and naturally resistant to odours.

Care: Wash only when needed. Wool wash programme or hand wash at max. 30°C using wool detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Lay flat to dry. Frequent airing is often all wool needs between wears.

Fit: True to Engel's size chart, with a comfortable fit that allows room for movement and layering. We recommend choosing the size closest to your child's height. For example, 116 is designed for a child around 111–116 cm tall. If your child is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for extra growing room.
